Never lived in one; I prefer having a lovely little garden
Funnily enough, my dad's house is just up the road! I often go to his house and help out. Still, I wouldn't choose to live with him. I know that sounds terrible but it wouldn't be right.

I actually rather enjoy cleaning my apartment: it is always worth it. There is little dust and no piles of laundry or dirty crockery. I also air out my apartment daily.
With an apartment even the slightest mess can make me look out of control. You have to be vigilant.

It'll be a cleaning day today too.
I've given my apartment a thorough clean today. This includes my bathroom and kitchen. I am airing out my apartment too.
This is how I have been sprucing up my apartment today:
1. Stripped and remade my bed 2. Washed a quick load of laundry 3. Washing a long load of laundry 4. Keep on top of the washing up 5. Am airing out my apartment

I gave my bookshelves a thorough dusting today with anti-bacterial wipes. I also re-organized my bookshelves. I gave my apartment a good hoover, too. I am airing out my apartment and keep on top of the washing up.
It all helps.

In my 20s I had a lovely flat in what is now a very trendy part of Manchester. I loved it but now I live in quite a big house. It’s not so easy to keep on top of the housework plus over the years I’ve accumulated so much clutter. I’ve chucked so much stuff out but there’s still so much more. I could fill about 10 skips.

This is true for my dad's house as well: and my dad doesn't like it. He does what he can but there is so much clutter he loathes it. Hence why he gets annoyed with my sister when she goes shopping.
My apartment does have clutter too: but I try to reign it in. I try to throw unneeded things away regularly and keep things organized. It is an ongoing battle. Now I did clean my bookshelves yesterday: and found an old letter from someone. I had been looking for that letter, you know. Anyhow, clutter is sometimes a necessary evil but I don't like it like my dad doesn't like it.
