I love shoes and felt inspired to put this love in a poem.
I really liked that poem a good topic and fun.
My Mum has an enormous collection of "good" shoes always a fashionable woman and 6/7 ? times beauty contest winner. Unfortunately I have bigger feet than her so will never inherit these
My brother is always in oxfords or brougues, leather soled too, such a smart fella, more likely to inherit these, closer to my size
A good judge of character/personality from the shoes you wear?
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
They say to write about things you know, and you clearly have a very good knowledge of shoes
I completely LOVE shoes. I love all shoes and am interested in what women - and men - wear on their feet. I certainly find fascination in footwear. I do have a fair bit of knowledge. I guess when you've got time, you read up on these things.
Anyhow, American sites are popular and I hope the prices aren't too high: I deliberately priced my eBooks at a very low price. If they're too high, no one will read them. NO ONE wants to spend too much on a book or eBook. Plus, they're easily accessible in electronic form. Having a Kindle is very popular now and not everyone wants to read a paperback.
I don't live in America: I live in the UK in the Midlands. I don't know who's been saying I live in Massachusetts because I am British.
I am sorry people think this: I hope no one has been posing as me. I used to live in Essex but moved away when I was young.
Anyhow, I am NOT American.
Your comment "I am NOT American" reminded me of the film Hidden Figures ? where the main character is accused of being a spy and being Russian. "I'm NOT Russian" was her preplexed, bemused response We don't think you are a spy either
We like Americans on here. we love our MOI She has kept us entertained with her life across the globe and ushered us along when the forum has been a little silent with some very scintillating stories.
There is many a Miss Marple within these walls which makes this place intriguing, whitty with our banter and very comical as well as being understanding and caring too.
I loved your shoe poem, because I could relate to that. The boyish and feminine boots reminded me of my boots and heels that I sold on e-bay to a male member. (Not a member on here... I mean on E-bay) We clearly had the same size feet (big 8) and he bought nearly every pair that I used to sell on there. He clearly had good taste
Anyone see the film Kinky Boots. Watched that this week. Bloom'in brilliant !
