A new thread : Will you share your menu and your recipes, as it would give us ideas when we don't know what to cook ? A picture would be welcome, and for a full recipe , here's the link :
We had a lovely lamb curry last night that OH made on Wednesday. It develops its flavour over a few days. It’s from the Mowgli Street Food cookery book. I’ve never eaten curries in my life because I don’t like hot, spicy food so I was very surprised to find Indian food that didn’t blow my socks off!
If anyone would like the recipe please say and I’ll take a photo to share.
LLCC : I'm fond of Indian dishes ( and spicy food as a whole, but never so hot as being painful!). In my favourite Indian restaurant here ,it is specified on the menu, and some recipes are "to taste". Recipe and photo welcome, thanks !
So do I! "Tex Mex" food has become very popular in France for some years. You can find a corner with fajita "tortillas" nachos, spicy sauce in every supermarkets and fajitas are available in most snackbars , next to hamburgers. I often cook " chili con carne ". Do you like it too ?

I have Chili Con Carne for dinner virtually every week! I love adding red kidney beans and sour cream.
Thanks, LLCC ! Your recipe reminds me of "Jalfrezi lamb/chicken" at our favourite restaurant. very Tasty ! You'll agree that a "Gourmet" thread needs to be multiligual ? "Rib eye" is "Faux filet" or "Entrecôte" - and certainly , if perfectly cooked, a delight !
