I watched Gardners World last night and as usual felt inspired to get into my own garden. I have been trying to clean our path and patio over the last 2 days. I used Jeyes Fluid. It’s hard work doing all the scrubbing and my body has been telling me that I’m not as fit as I used to be. I’m going to get out there later and do some jobs. First one is to cut all the hydrangea flowers off and prune them all a bit. I’ve been itching to get it done but waited till now in case we had a frost. What’s top of your gardening job list?
I am hoping to get out there by the end of the week, but we are so water-logged here I can't walk on any of the lawns, well they're not lawns anymore as the grass is so tall. I will have to attempt to sithe before I can strim to then mow
In our brief respite from rain over Easter, we did manage to jet wash all the patios. They look sooo good now. Soapy water with white vinegar to get rid of the grease.
Have you not got a jet washer LLCC ? Good investment.
Things are definitely perking up, the hedging which I planted 3 years ago is actually looking like a hedge at last. My daughter is bringing her jet wash down next week and will do my patio for me.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
We have a jet washer but it is so strong that it pulls up everything in the cracks between the paving slabs. OH got it out and ended up covered in muck 🙈
