Tell as much or as little as you like secrets, fables or fantasies...no one minds
1. What piece of music either a) makes you feel sad or b) makes you feel jolly?...this is (one of!) mine

Those first few bars get me little feet tapping right away, memories of sultry hot summer nights, aperos on the terrace, bbq on the go, everyone joyful and dancing together, brilliant! Rob Thomas's voice doesn't sound like a white man singing, brilliant pairing with him and Santana, love the video too.
2. What film do you watch time and time again ?
Play Misty For Me, Clint Eastwood, ( is he still alive?), Educating Rita, Julie Walters and Michael Caine, anything with Anthony Hopkins in.
3. Did you have any New Year good intentions, what were they and have you achieved/are achieving them?
Something I really wish I was much better at is DIY, so this year I have made a special effort of persevering with my limited skill set and not packing in a task just after a few minutes. I am definitely getting better at decorating, I am going to be having a go at liming the staircase next week, I am no good at carpentry, or much else come to that ....yet!
4. Do you have a favourite signature perfume...what is it?
I like most Kenzo perfumes, my favourites being World and Jungle l'Elephant, they have beautiful bottles too. Do you know, Chanel No 5 was launched 102 years ago, and is still the best selling perfume in the world, how incredible is that?
5. What keeps you awake at night?
At the moment it's OH, ( and no, not for that reason I'd have no trouble at all dropping off then ), but most of the time it's worrying about what ifs. Just recently, when I thought we were going to be away from home for some time, I updated my 'What if' Box, which contains all our legal docs, bank/investments details, life cover, Will ,etc etc , so that in the event of us not returning home, everything was easy for our daughter to access and was all updated. I always do this when we go away for holidays, particularly if we are driving. However this time I spent ages and ages on it, I was so worried I was going to miss something incredibly important, I found myself sat up in bed making lists in the middle of the night.
6. If you had a whole day to totally please yourself, what would you do?
I would start off very early, plan a trip using public transport so no driving or worrying about car parking, visit an historical scenic town on the coast, cafe on the harbour for morning coffee and people watching, perouse the charity shops looking for designer bargains, bric a brac and a forum secret santa get a manicure, back to the harbour for a long lunch and a chilled glass of chablis, ( maybe two ...ok, probably two ), spend a couple of hours visiting a garden or gallery, have a long leisurely walk along the harbour and town at dusk, just when the shops are closing and everyone is on their way home, back to the harbour to just sit until time to catch the train. Simple but satisfying. When writing this Whitby came to mind.
7. What are you most proud of about yourself?
Me ferret breeding obvs, goes without saying , having the guts to leave home at the age of 16, even though it meant disrupting my education, and I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. Never, ever looked back, there's only decay and dust around those corners.
8. Is there a time when you did something so out of character that your closest chums wouldn't believe it?
Now, here's the thing....I used to be in the Navy ..oh yes I did...anyhoo, I was posted on HMS Pinafore seeing off those pesky Pirates in Penzance...I know, with my legs eh?.. I didn't take to that much so I was moved to Barracks where I did an embalming course, I was known as Barrack Embalmer...not a lot of people know that
That's all my secrets for now, can't wait to hear yours, xx
