Oh my - its just horrible out there. Most of the routes into town are flooded again, the river a few miles away is now 7 metres deep! We are effectively blocked in again. Hope no-one has had water in their properties. Its a horrendous situation for those that do. The forecast shows a colder dry spell coming later in the week, and it can't come soon enough. Please take care all
Oh heck, VW. You need a boat not a campervan! Our town has been on flood alert and the village that I live in. Flood defences were deployed in town but I think the water may have peaked. Yesterday we went to Manchester airport to drop off family. I’ve never seen so much water on the roads which made the driving horrible. It is not raining today but still looks grey and soggy outside!
Hope you'll stay safe ! 8 departments in the North and west of France are under flood alert too ( 6 weeks after Pas de Calais was devastated by floodwaters).
I’m going no further than work which is only a mile away. Hopefully the water will start to dissipate when this cold spell comes. We need some cold fresh weather to kill all the bugs. So many people have coughs and colds.

Sickness is widespread. A few weeks ago I got sick but am feeling much better now. My sister has been sick herself: she had a terrible cold. It was pretty dire.
But take care, guys: if you are ill have rest and don't overexert yourself.
We haven't had flooding as such, but there is lots of water coming off the fields onto the country lanes, which there are lots of around here. The water on the lanes gets pretty deep in places making driving quite scary, we have witnessed several cars aquaplaning, fortunately every one was driving slowly and carefully so no accidents.
Lots of black ice about now, which is lethal. I think these flooding events are the new 'normal' I miss proper winters - frost and snow - but the seasons are changing rapidly. The wildlife and plants are so confused. I have buds on things that don't normally bud until March - the frost will knock them for six.

I'm afraid you're right about this. Climate change and pollution have changed our planet's ecology and weather systems.
