Used to have mice visiting my house quite often, then one day they just went walkies and didn't return.
Wasnt sure if it was a good or bad thing xd
I'd say that was a good thing
I have been thinking about this LLCC and remembered that rodents don't like mint/peppermint - gardeners often grow mint around vegetable patches or round perimeter of garden/allotments to keep them away or put peppermint oil on doorways and window cills (fine if you don't have cats as this is quite toxic to pets). So was wondering if some peppermint tea bags put in your draws at home might help.

No cats at our house anymore. So I am reliant on deterrents. Last week I discovered the little blighters had chewed a cushion open to remove the feathers, up in our attic room. I put down more poison. None has gone so I can only assume it was the culprits before Christmas. Sadly though they have chewed through some newspapers that I had kept. I always buy The Times with big headlines for the family to enjoy in decades to come. Have emptied a few bags today that had mouse droppings on them. One was full of granddaughter clothing that my eldest thought might come in handy if her little sister ever has a baby girl. Now having to wash stuff and chuck out stuff.
Sorry to hear that LLCC, it's upsetting when something you wanted to keep gets ruined. Even if your furry visitors have gone, try putting peppermint teabags in your clothing drawers, airing cupboard etc, so at least if they came back they wouldn't want to go in there/stay.
