Too hot here too Magggzz, it was 33 mid day today and still 31 at 3.30, had more than enough. We had some really nice morning mists too, something really magical about them, I find the atmosphere is always very still when theres a mist.

Mowed the lawns this afternoon. In the mornings the grass is far too wet now. I feel Autumn won't be as long as usual and this year we'll have a loooooonnnnnggggg hard winter
I think we’ve had the last of the good weather now. I went to Southport on Weds and came home with a burnt nose but I don’t think there’ll be any more of that. Shame really but there’s something about autumn. I don’t even mind the days growing shorter. I even like winter. Im kind of dreading it this year though because of the bills. Im on an EV fuel plan and now all the washing and dishwashing goes on after half 11 at night. My electric bill last month was half of what it had been on my old plan and that’s including charging up 3 electric cars. It’s not going to help much with the gas over the winter though.
That sounds good Magggzz, what a saving. We are still paying nearly 3 times more than we used to, they only adjust it twice a year and hoping it's going to come down next month. Whats EV plan? I'll look as we're not tied to our supplier.
Really welcoming the Autumn, it's easier to wrap up and keep warm than try and cool down. My Uncle has a fabulous allotment (takes after my grandfather for self-sufficiency) and he brought so many squashes round that he grew, all different Autumn colours. I like to think it's the season when we all start to wind down and find those hobbies that you tend to do over Autumn/winter
