Maturity gives you patience to think and reflect on your thoughts and actions. To look at life through kinder gentler eyes, which is better for yourself too.
While I don’t think I’m stupid my brains and memory are not what they used to be. I would love it if my thinking was clearer and worked better. I love watching sciencey stuff on YouTube. Often I just can’t grasp the concepts or I completely lose the thread. I would love to know what it felt to have a brain that worked like Stephen Hawkings. It must feel amazing.
Maturity kind of means you’re old and I’m not fond of being that.
Linda, maturity and definitely common sense. Brains? Useful, but most of the time it's possible to sound intelligent without knowing anything. Worth a mention, age is just a number. You definitely don't have to grow up. We can all grow old disgracefully.

You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending. C. S. Lewis
Maturity and intelligence aren't mutually exclusive: they are combined. But maturity is an attractive trait. More than someone getting an A in their maths test.
