I know I may crow about how lovely it is to have fires and log burners, but the dust and cobwebs are driving me absolutely potty !! I could be dusting every single day, it is that bad.
How often does everyone else dust ? I am a tidy person but not necessarily a spotless one
Under normal circumstances, I do a big dust and hoover once a week, but always whizzing around with the dustbuster - as having a dog means there are usually stray dog hairs. I am not as fussy as I used to be, as time is a big factor, but generally the house is clean and tidy if not always totally dust free lol
I tend to forget to look "up" SD, so they have to accumulate quite badly for me to notice cobwebs. My mum has a long feather duster, she uses it to get the dust and cobwebs down and then she gets the cobwebs and puts them lower down as she feels sorry for destroying the spider homes
I have to vacuum a lot as I have cats, like all us pet people, a constant mess of some sort.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
I’m not a fan of housework. I do the bare minimum really. My mum was a bit of a fanatic. She was constantly quoting “a place for everything and everything in its place”. I wish I did have a place for everything. There always seems to be things that move around the house according to which room I’m working on at the time.
I wish I was better at it. Hit me with your best tips.
I dust approximately once a week. My sister suggested microfibre gloves, they seem to be ok. I don't seem to get a lot of dust, cobwebs? They are a different thing altogether. I noticed a very long one dangling in my bedroom this morning.

As a short person, I sometimes miss the cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling .... this morning I was drying my hair and realised there was a big one dangling just feet above my head
Well I could probably multiply all those by atleast 10 Our cottage has beams and dark corners, with 2 fires permanently chugging away, it is a cobweb/dust haven
