I've made some candles adding essential oils, don't think I've got the quantities quite right though, the scent is too subtle but lime & lemongrass worked well. I've also had a go at making room fragrance - there's a few 'recipes' on the internet, some using vodka and others using distilled water (I've tried the latter, worked ok). Reed diffusers is something else I've thought about.
I’ve got several little bottles from the year dot. I used to have a metal ring (probably now at the bottom of a drawer) which was put on top of an electric lightbulb in table lamp. Put a few drops of essential oils into it and as the ring heated up, it gave out a lovely smell.
Can I just ask, are they synthetic fragrance oils or pure 100% therapeutic grade essential oils? If the latter, then you could make some facial oils if you have a carrier oil too. Make a nice Christmas present, if you have some 50ml dark glass bottles. I've just made a facial oil using 50ml sweet almond oil as the carrier, 20 drops wild carrot seed EO and 20 drops frankincense EO
Or how about making handmade soap, again you'd need therapeutic grade though.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.

Oh I remember I had one of those - made from Terracotta. Used to work a treat - sadly now don't have a suitable lamp for it - and not sure they would work with these new energy saving bulbs lol
I do like to go to my local health store and every month or less, I’d pick out some new essential oils. I’ve liked that someone mentioned rosemary and oregano essential oils to clean the floors and as an antibacterial ingredient for household cleaning spray. Personally It’d be cool what you can come up with like as a emotional support roll-on that you carry around in your purse/bag. For further meaning it’s a blend of your favorite scents in essential oil that helps alleviate depression or anxiety, etc. More so people have picked up some great ideas on how to make natural DIY cleaners and I totally enjoy it. Altogether we can learn from each other more and I hope to be a part of this learning journey.
Hi, I'm racking my brains to try and remember the company I used before who did a roll on essential oil in various blends for emotional support etc, so yes, it's been done

Would that be Neal's Yard BellaT? I use their essential oil roll on for flying...although not been used for a while ....I still have one, it has patchouli, rose, geranium and frankincense as the main oils, it is called Woman's Balance....having said that, daughter's partner used it also on a long haul flight and he was very impressed.
I am not sure if they have an online site, I will check later, see if it still available.
In the winter, when the central heating is on....( or spring!), I often sprinkle a few drops of oil on the radiators, instead of using artificial room scents...only a few drops needed of your favourites , and you can choose according to the function of the room.
I always ensure I have a tissue with a few drops of lavender oil on in my pocket when I go on a place, so I can discreetly give it a sniff if I feel anxious.
Has anyone got any good suggestions for essential oils? I have made Bath bombs (unsuccessfully), Bath salts and diffused through a diffuser.
Looking for some more inspo as have a lot of oils to use.
Thanks in advance.
Ever make those little wax Scentsy squares with them? I have COPD so I can't deal with a diffuser. However, I don't mind the melted wax to scent the house with. I buy lavender Scentsy's and when they lose their smell I put lavender essential oil in. Makes the house smell nice.
Sorry to hear that Marci. One of my brothers has this condition.
Lavender has always been a good all rounder. I remember using it in childbirth
@ Cj, love Neals yard products , have some of their intense facial serums when I can afford it. We have a lovely little shop in town that sells their products.
