I agree about magazines, I pick them up at the supermarket and then find I am interested in such a small number of the articles that they're a complete waste of money. I also dislike the celeb mags that the hairdresser has these days, I don't know who half these people are and if you get given a stack of them, you read one article about so-and-so professing their love for whoever, then an issue from a few weeks later says they split up and are now with completely different people (who I also don't recognise) etc. Thank goodness for my kindle.
I’m the same Jax2, I know so few of the singers and actors/esses these days or people who are famous and don’t really have anything to be famous for. Your comment made me laugh!
Do you have a nice garden Gracie or do you just like the country style?
We have quite a big garden which is too much for us to cope with so have to have help to do the heavy stuff. We recently planted a border because the next door neighbours ripped out bushes on their side and it was then completely open. It’s growing far too slowly so we’re thinking of getting a hedge man in to speed it along. What’s weird is since the neighbours did it, they have both disappeared and the house is empty!
Gracie, have you considered having very sturdy trellis installed? You could grow some lovely climbing plants eg clematis, honeysuckle and passion flower. You could plant some sort of hedge in front of it. Just a thought.

I get Country Living too Linda. I can’t put my finger on it but it doesn’t seem as good as it used to be. What do you think?
I agree gracie, it just doesn't cut the mustard for me anymore, in fact I haven't bought it this year so far, it is full of adverts, and nearly costs a fiver.
I’ve just started, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Never seen the film so no idea what st about. Obviously seen Audrey Hepburn in that iconic photo of her as Holly Golightly. Anyone read the book?
I am reading Isobel's wedding by Sheila O'Flanagan. Easy to pick up for a few pages reading in the car waiting for work in the mornings. I rarely buy a magazine as my friend seems to buy them all and passes them on to me. I then pass them on to another friend, so they are well read before they get recycled lol
Half way through The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. I didn’t watch it on TV, did you? It’s not a big book so I’d be interested to know how they made so many episodes. Enjoying the read so far.

I had exactly the same question lol
I do have some sympathy for Margaret Atwood's head, it can't be a very pleasant place to be.
