Worrying time for the royal family! Not so much for King Charles, as he will undergo quite a routine operation. But Kate ? Had an idea ...doing crosswords ( and remembering a friend's pregnancy)! "Cervical stitch".
Yes, not good for the D of Y. Hopefully, it will help others to realise they must check themselves and seek help if they suspect anything. Since Charles was in the news, searches on the internet for enlarged prostate have massively increased.
I respect her right to privacy, but I hope maybe if it was a hysterectomy she might at some stage in the future be prepared to share her experiences for the benefit of other women who find themselves facing similar circumstances.
Jax ...my idea being more optimistic, I wish I'm right and the surgery was aiming to prevent a miscarriage, she has to stay lying for some time An hysterectomy would be a sad event for such a young person.
But would recovery take so long ? Unless...sorry,if it's rather crude - if ...an artificial intestinal outlet had to be created for some time (I know a person who had it for about 3 months after bowel-surgery for an intestinal occlusion) Not grave, but rather embarrassing for a Princess ? Anyway, hope it's nothing worse, and wish them all a quick recovery !
Chrons is a good call VWC, in the press it stated that her calendar dates were cancelled for the surgery to happen, which suggests the surgery happened at short notice.
It is interesting that Kate's hospital episode is shrouded in more secrecy that Charles's was, this is a lady who was doing a photo shoot with full make up, hair blown, looking immaculate within 24 hours after her children's births. It is also interesting there are no blurry or car photo shots from journalists, given how eager the press must be to get that first shot. This suggests some level of concealment beyond discretion with regards to the media.
