Every now and then we must all come across things, experiences, words etc that either make us go gggggrrrrr or wow amazeballs

Aren't chestnut mushrooms, the big brown ones, so satisfying to peel? I know mushrooms should be wiped as opposed to washed, and the skins left on, but I can't go with that, it make me feel a bit eeky, but peeling a lovely big chestnut mushroom, by just getting hold of a piece of skin under it's little hat and peeling it off by hand, is a wonderful thing....who knew eh?

I've been told off ( again!) for 'misgendering' a 'they' over the Christmas period, I mean, if it looks like a man, wears trousers, has a 5 o' clock shadow and is called Jack, (sorry small j apparently), ok so is called jack then it's not a ferret is it?
Oh mushrooms!! Love peeling them, especially the huge field mushrooms you get when out on a walk. Mind you, I have always loved peeling things. My feet as a child, my sunburn……I digress lol
I so understand the satisfaction of peeling a mushroom, but I only use button ones now and 'can't be boffered' in the words of Catherine Tate

Every room in the new abode has fitted wardrobes/desks/wall cupboards, corner cupboards with glass shelve and mirrored insides...( oo 'eck, it's a good job my insides aren't mirrored ) eg two bedrooms each have a four door wardrobe and a two door wardrobe, one also has a desk unit in the corner with a set of drawers and two small drawer units underneath, and a large corner unit in an alcove, the second bedroom also has two alcoves filled with selves and cupboards, a desk with two sets of side drawers, the two mirrored corner cabinets as mentioned, the third bedroom has a large corner two door wardrobe, floor to ceiling set of shelves, a built in desk with two small drawer units and three wall units above, and the hall, ( a lovely area which has been totally spoilt) has a corner desk unit with two large built in filing cabinets, a drawer unit, a safe, and three glass door wall units.......all of the wardrobes are fitted up to the ceilings....
It was all done about 15 years ago, all Schreiber, all different shades of a greige, it is so b****y heavy goodness knows how the floors and ceilings haven't collapsed, it's ugly, doesn't suit the house, tasteless. The only redeeming factor is that as we destroy each piece, we feel optimistic that there may be a few boarded up Victorian fireplaces waiting to be discovered, fingers crossed!!
The government are finally introducing laws to exonerate and compensate the Horizon Post Office postmasters and mistresses wrongly accused of theft, false accounting and fraud.

Why on earth has it taken an ITV drama - Mr Bates vs The Post Office to get anything done? It’s outrageous that it has gone on so long!
It took an ITV documentary to make something happen because it humanised all the victims, brought their personal struggles to our living rooms , which totally shocked anyone who watched. Rather than reading little snippets in the news every so often which wasn't catching as much attention with "bigger" news stories taking most of the attention away from their plight.
I only watched this a couple of days ago and felt so upset to see what had happened, all the lies, all the cover ups and peoples lives completely destroyed.
There is a lot to be said for being part of a group, and the support and friendship that is gained from this.
Rant - you’ve probably all seen or heard about it today. Scammers trying to rip people off who have reported a missing pet. It just beggars belief how low people will stoop.
Praise - the BBC for brining it to attention and making people aware.
